Though both Dave and I are ready for this trip in so many ways, anxiety is starting to set in a bit. We’ve been on lock down for over 3 years now without being out in public – so a bit of anxiety about that as well as being so so far away from home in general and especially with Dave having a autoimmune disease.
This weekend we finished up the truck prep — everything is packed – back seat, behind the seat, the truck box in the back and the attic on top! We also have the basement of the camper in order as well. The weekend was finishing up the oil change of the truck as well as air filter change and fuel filter replacement.
Only things really left now is to finish up some stuff in the trailer. I have vent filters that I need to replace as well as clean the shower again. That will only leave the fridge to clean again and stock. I have to watch what we do pack food wise as Canadian rules are very strick about what you can and cannot take across the border. I’ll be calling the border patrol this week to verify so we know what we can take, what we have to eat state side and what we’ll food we’ll need to purchase once into Canada.
